Tour Helios Sake Brewery's aged sake storehouse: 2,000 barrels equivalent to 5 million bottles of sake!
Helios Sake Brewery's head office and sake brewery are located in Kyoda, Nago City, in the northern area of Okinawa main island. Kyoda is originally known as a place that has excellent natural water sources, and it is surrounded with the lush greenery of the Yambaru forest.
You can tour the manufacturing area and learn about the history of awamori such as the raw sake of "Kura", the old sake brewery where about 2,600 oak barrels are resting. The distillery is also equipped with a copper pot still which is rare in Okinawa.
The Old Sake Brewery Shop which reopened in November 2023 a wide variety of products can be purchased such as limited edition items. Free and paid tastings are also available.
rewery tours are held twice a day at 11:00 and 15:00. Anyone can join but reservations are required and there is a limit to the number of participants at one time.
