During the summer season in Japan, the sounds of drums reverberate throughout Okinawa. Practice for the traditional Eisa events begins in June, and the local events themselves comprise of parades through the local villages while beating the drums. This Okinawan tradition has been passed down for generations and the sounds always seem to symbolize the arrival of summer.

Our event at the hotel includes not only a performance, but a simple class held at the same time for children (12 years old and under) who will gather at the venue and play the drums together. Please enjoy the tradition of Okinawa as presented by members of the Youth Association.
* Advance reservations are not accepted. Also, please note that the number of drums for children to participate with is limited.

The sanshin is a beloved Okinawan instrument and its sounds are as familiar as the human voices around us or as the voices of nature. You can enjoy relaxing in Okinawa with these sounds that will make you feel the richness of Okinawa. You can enjoy this special experience listening at the Club Lounge, which is full of Yambaru greenery, or at the illuminated night pool.

Each performance is about 20 minutes long.

In Okinawa, the air is clearer than in mainland Japan, and there are few light sources near the hotel, so the stars can be seen beautifully. Why don't you look up at the night sky and look at the stars? At this event, you will enjoy the story of the constellations as told by the guide. You will also learn how to find stars and landmarks which you can compare to the night sky in your hometown when you return.

Enjoy the Japanese summer tradition of handheld fireworks at our hotel. In addition, from this year it will be possible to do fireworks at Kariyushi Beach. You can take your fireworks and take a stroll after dinner down to the beach. A traditional Japanese summer drink "Ramune" will also be sold at the hotel.

The entrance to Kariyushi Beach will close at 18:00. If you want to enjoy fireworks, please enter by the main door of the LCH Resort.

During the summer season we will be offering Poolside BBQ (dependent on weather daily). Reservations can be made for 2 or more persons and there are 3 course menu selections. In addition, you can order from the Poolside Bar menu which gives more options. As you are cooking and eating, you will have the delightful experience of watching the sunset sky change colors right in front of you.

The large tree nymph or the paper kite butterfly is said to be "the lady of the southern island" because its graceful flight in the sky looks so elegant. It is also said that the golden chrysalis "delivers happiness to whoever sees it." Our exhibition will give you a close up look at the development of the butterfly including larvae, pupae, and adults.

Bingata is characterized by its vibrant colors, bold color scheme, and the simple designs reminiscent of Okinawa. The technique involves adding color to fabric that has a pre-designed glue already applied. When you have finished the dyeing work and the dye dries, you can take it home. Later you will wash out the glue and your beautiful design and colors remain. It is like getting a souvenir after you arrive home again! There are many patterns for tote bags in 3 sizes, so choose the one that suits your taste.
