Renovation project for 288 rooms providing an even better base for traveling in Yambaru!
Oriental Hotel is located at the entrance of Yambaru, a newly designated Natural World Heritage Site in the northern part of the main Okinawa island. In March 2022, we opened our new Club Lounge designed with our signature concept of LOVE OKINAWA DISCOVER YAMBARU. The lounge is located in the high ceiling lobby area and showcases an abundance of forest plants unique to Yambaru. Our outdoor Garden Pool, one of the largest in Okinawa and with a spectacular view over the East China Sea, has also been newly renovated.
The new renovation encompasses 288 guest rooms including club rooms and superior rooms. The inner terraces with floor to ceiling windows are furnished with a table and a day bed from which you can watch the slowly changing scenery throughout the day. It's a perfect place to relax without interruptions, and will enhance your journey to Yambaru.
The comprehensive renovation plan which started in 2021 will be completed when these 288 rooms are completed. At our newly renovated hotel we are also offering new items to upgrade our breakfast menu. Kobe High Curry, a tradition from Kobe's food culture, and cheese fondue which can be used to complement any menu item are part of the richness being offered beginning in September.

Our hotel is located on the side of a hill overlooking the East China Sea. The Club Ocean and Club Corner rooms have a generous amount of space with a relaxing living area and an inner terrace offering spectacular views. There is also a balcony space where you can relax and enjoy feeling the sea breeze while watching the sky change from evening to night. Each of these rooms is also equipped with a washer/dryer supporting a more comfortable long-term stay.

The space here is characterized by floor to ceiling windows overlooking the spectacular ocean and the richness of Yambaru making you feel like you are looking at a beautifully framed painting. The 44.6㎡ guest room has a natural and luxurious design and is functionally laid out with an open closet and an inner terrace with a daybed, giving the room a beautiful openness. It is designed to make your stay more enjoyable for both couples and families. In addition, the all-marble bathroom is equipped with a separate shower stall and a bathtub where you can stretch your legs. The luxurious feeling is all encompassing.
