RYU-KA-HO Ryukyu Chinese Dining open for a limited time!

Ryu-ka-hou, open for a limited time during the summer, offers a unique culinary experience with its original "Ryukyu-Chinese" cuisine. The head chef, a qualified nutritional medicinal food expert, prepares dishes based on the Chinese medicinal philosophy of "food as medicine." The ingredients are sourced from the abundant nature of Yambaru, a region in northern Okinawa.

We offer three distinct course menus: a table-sharing course where you can enjoy various dishes served on platters, a refreshing Chinese-style shabu-shabu course perfect for a hot summer day, and a premium course featuring luxurious ingredients hand-selected by the chef.

This summer's special, the "Chinese-style shabu-shabu course," allows you to savor the rich flavors of the sea, mountains, and fields. It features Okinawan Agu pork, Seika (Okinawan flying squid) known for its tender texture and delicate flavor, and fresh local vegetables.

You can choose from two types of soup for your shabu-shabu: Mala Tang (numbing and spicy), a Sichuan-style soup infused with several Yambaru spices like Szechuan chili peppers and turmeric for a stimulating kick and aroma, and Tori Paitan (creamy chicken broth), a mild and mellow soup with the rich umami of chicken bones. You can choose the soup that best complements your ingredients and enjoy a different flavor profile.

For those who wish to relax in your ocean-view room or by the pool, we also have a wide variety of takeout options. Our menu includes dishes like Yambaru Chicken Yakitori and Cantonese Sweet and Sour Pork made with local pork loin.
